test this navigation without NSSlideMenu, works fine,... ((this bug in iOS6 or later-only)

I can't reproduce this issue. Could you check out this commit e8343a1 and tell me if you can reproduce your bug. I guess it's a bug in your app maybe related to interface rotation or stuff like that.
