0.4.2-pre not merging into master? #413

I recently finished a release and it created a tag from the release branch without merging into master. Master remained empty (as it was our first release).

I did not know I was using 0.4.2-pre until I spotted the issue #374.

I've now downgraded to 0.4.1.
