Shape for the Principality of Monaco #792

The shape of the principality of Monaco seems off. Even considering it's a simplified shape (seems a bit oversimplified by the way), it looks too large and is shifted to the West.

Could be that I'm using the wrong projection (WGS84/EPSG:43426)?

Found this issue with several other shapes:

Others looks fine, so the projection used ought to be correct.

Any idea what could be the issue behind this and if it could be fixed?

Hey folks... Natural Earth is deliberately a low detailed representation of the world. These examples are tiny countries at the limits of the project's intended accuracy & resolution and for small places like Monaco it's standard cartographic practice to exaggerate at these scales. That said, version 6 which is in public beta, does increase the detail and hopefully addresses problems like those you identify.
