Create a question view for the professor which will display one question at a time for a given set and also display a small chart which will track the percentage of students that have chosen each possible answer, also enable a button for the professor to display the correct answer with some kind of visual effect which will highlight or mark the correct answer. In addition display the number of students logged into (or connected to the current session in an unobtrusive way).

done, minus the number of connected students since they dont log in to view a session.
