Toggle soft keyboard does not hide soft keyboard

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Menu -> toggle soft keyboard

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should hide and deactivate soft keyboard on top of screen, instead, only 
deactivates (buttons become unresponsive) without hiding it

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Vimtouch 1.1 on android 2.3.3 on a motorola droid 2

Please provide any additional information below.
If this is actually the intended behavior, may I suggest that a real fullscreen 
would be a really really nice feature to have! :)
