only uppercase keys in landscapemode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. change to landscapemode
2. open softkeyboard

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I would expect to can 
write upper and lowercase characters but I can't. I only can write uppercase 
keys. changing by the shiftkey fails.

What version of the product are youusing? On what operating system? android 
2.3.5 on HTC desire hd (original rom)

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm using the default HTC keyboard.
this only happens in landscapemode not in portraitmode.

the problem still appears. same device configuration. vimtouch version 1.6
