You know you can drag the playhead and in-out markers on the expanded timeline view already? Or did you mean something different?
The second point, yeah, I'm also still a bit confused by that round timeline, it actually does seem to have 2 different colors, but I don't know what they mean! actually raised some of this in https://github.com/nvrmind/IssueTracker/issues/38
The idea of editing a specific frame where to go with the playhead and editing the in\out frame of the timeline, is beacause it allows you to work on frames more precisely expecially if we have a long timeline of animation frames. As a character animator I know on which frame I want to go to draw a new key pose and just moving the playhead it seems me I can't be so precise on the frame management. Thanks a lot.
Ah, makes sense. Personally I definitely struggle with the fact that it doesn't even show the global frame number in the main ui! it's sorta hard to type numbers in though, so I wonder how a 'go to specific frame' would work. Maybe something like the mode you get in maya where you hold 'k', and you can scrub freely through time by just moving the mouse horizontally anywhere on the screen - you don't even need to click or be over the timeline view, it's super useful. Just daydreaming here :-)
