We propose a new S04 term:

Preferred label: in-situ fluorometer Definition: An instrument in the field that detects fluorescence emitted when compounds that are of a fluorescent nature absorb light and re-emit a fraction as fluorescence. Instruments can be configured with various excitation wavelengths to detect a variety of specific fluorescent compounds.
