bug: when you add a new group

and then try to use it in a new row of species grouping it won't select it. In fact it doesn't emit at all, although if you fill in any of the other fields, or select a pre-existing group, and then select the new group it works fine. It's odd that the new group shows up in the options list, but then isn't selectable.

I've searched the existing issues pretty thoroughly, so I think I just need to make a code pen example and post on the forum.
