Issue identified via testing of SATRE compliance requirement discussed here. VDS image config script sets the nexus proxy URL for CRAN to a different version of R used by Jupyterlab. This results in the default cran repo being inaccessible and requires the researcher to set the CRAN nexus repo URL manually.
