Not all Bill details in the diff make sense. #1

Specifically:

Year: The session year will be the same for all amendments of a bill. At the end of each session the old bill is thrown out an a new one is introduced, linked by "Previous Versions"
Sponsor: This will never change between amendments of the same bill.
Current Committee: Both amendments represent the same bill. When A is introduced, B is "dead" so it doesn't make sense to report the earlier version of the bill as being in any committee at all.

we were looking to implement the bill diff to allow comparison between sessions eventually. I agree that in its current state these do not make sense.

Ah, so @stefancrain explains that the bill details are just for debugging purposes right now. That's fine. If they do become part of the primary interface though we'd want to resolve this issue.

Additionally, diffing actions might not make any sense in these context either because they are really the same bill. Having some delineation between where actions on one bill start and another ends would be a Good Thing.
