Model search is painfully slow in dropdowns #671

When searching for buildings in dropdowns (for example when creating a LOS or editing a node), the results are painfully slow to load (often 10+ seconds)

These should be at least as fast as our Building search (around 3-4 seconds)

This appears to be not limited to just buildings. Searching member objects when creating installs is also super slow
