Moving away from txt files and redis caches as a data storage mechanism
Basic text files have been replaced, and laboratory experiments have been set up to check the migration for more complicated behaviors
Also there's a bunch of black formatting - vscode started it! If this was a work project I'd care a lot more about separating reformatting into separate commits, but I don't care that much about the history here, so 🤷♀️
