10v boot time on SnowLeopard is too long(or slow)... than Leopard #214

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.The spin wheel turns over 42 times when SL booting..
2.

What netbook are you using this on?
  Dell mini 10v (N280)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want
      1.Please reduce SL boot time (level of Leopard - spin wheel 9~12 
times)
      2.Is it possible to brightness OSD? Like Samsung NC10..

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
  10.5.6 Retail install by NBM 0.8.3 final → 10.5.8 update
  10.6 Retail install by NBM 0.8.3 final → 10.6.2 update

Please provide any additional information below.

Yep, I counted, and I'm getting 42 spins of the wheel. I wonder what's causing 
the boot times to be so long!

The average boot time for my Dell Mini 10v is currently 15 minutes.
