I not use proxy, in my work http://docs.google.com/ is blocked but not 
https://docs.google.com/

the message of error is :

"can't connect to internet. make sure you're online and try again"

I have the same problem with mglorena.
I can connect to Google Docs to using https only.( ex- https://docs.google.com )

Is there any plan to provide ssl in Nocs?
do you know any proxy server to connect to Google Docs?

I really hope to use this application.
