As requested, here's a patch which separates out the test requirements. Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks. I did the merge by hand so I could fix the Travis/tox build before landing this. (They needed to use the setup.py test syntax; see 0fc0289e2a0de2609d1d1977696a03399e7a061a if you're interested.)
