Deleted conversations are shown as empty threads in inbox. #1729

Related to #1578, N1 now shows empty thread in inbox, when all the messages are trashed. This seems to happen with thread that were deleted on a different email client. When coming back to Nylas, it detects that the messages are no longer in the inbox, but fails to remove the thread from the list.

Attaching screenshot.

@jmfederico thanks for reporting this. Does the thread also appear in the trash?

jstejada commented 8 years ago

actually, @jmfederico, could you send us the following debugging info:

Thanks!

I found a thread in my mailbox that is exhibiting this issue too. When I "Log Data" to the Chromium Developer console and then run this command on the console:

__message.categories.map(cat => cat.name)

I get this output, which should be impossible on a Gmail account (because all and spam are separate folders, and a message can only exist in one folder, while it can have many labels (inbox, sent, etc. are labels within all)

["all", "inbox", "spam"]

@jstejada just sent you an email with the debug info you asked.
