Hi Orschiro,
We are working on an N1 plugin version of our software, Draft AI. (www.draft-ai.com)
It's a button in the compose window that drafts a response to any detected scheduling string in a message based on the content and your calendar availability.
Should solve this problem nicely! Give us a several weeks and should be ready 🚀
Best, Alex
P.s. An example: if their message contains the string: " I could do 3pm PT (8pm ET) Mon/Tue " It might draft "Hi X, I am afraid I am busy at 3pm PT Monday however 3pm PT Tuesday works for me, I will send an invite, Best, X".
P.p.s sends them the calendar invite as well ;)
Actually sorry, just realised that doesn't quite do what you want.
We do have the code to do that time zone translation in-line, we could potentially roll it out with the plugin... If anyone was up for doing the UI work on that part, that would be amazing!
Best, Alex
Hi @agdfoster,
Draft AI sounds very powerful! Thanks for your work on this. :+1:

That sounds great! What would the work on the UI part involve precisely?

Dear all,
Let me request a timezone converter that would go great along the lines of the calendar scheduling feature.
I frequently receive invitations to calls that are formulated in weird, complicated and hard to understand timezone language. Example:
It would be fantastic if N1 was to assist me with understanding what a timezone means for my local context. In the above example, I envision a mouse-over to translate
Tuesday 1:30pm EDT
into my local timezone setting, e.g.Tuesday 07:30pm Berlin time
.Just an idea. What do you think?
Thankfully,
~Robert
