Spell Check Underlining too Slow #3482

What operating system are you using?

Mac OS 10.11.6

What version of Nylas Mail are you using?

2.0.18

Bug?

Do you have any third-party plugins installed? If so, which ones?

No

Is the issue related to a specific email provider (Gmail, Exchange, etc.)?

No

Spell check underlining is very slow to appear. It seems like there is an almost 2 second delay from when I complete a mis-spelled word until the red underline appears.

Concur. But, good luck getting anyone at N1 to read or reply to this. Look at the hundreds of issues without comment. I would be embarrassed to work for them.

The sad thing is, that many of the issues could be solved with a simple pull request by the community. But there is no interest by Nylas in that. They dont even allow a fix in the readme file.
