Moving messages to labels/folders is unreliable #3483

Mac OS 10.11.6

What version of Nylas Mail are you using?

2.0.18

Bug?

Do you have any third-party plugins installed? If so, which ones?

Is the issue related to a specific email provider (Gmail, Exchange, etc.)?

Gmail (have not tried with others)

Moving messages/threads to folders/labels is not working well. This seems to be especially true when moving multiple messages/threads at once. I select several messages and drag them to a folder in the Nylas sidebar or use the Label menu to assign a label to them. Sometimes they appear in the folder for a few moments, but the disappear again. Sometimes they don't appear in the folder at all. Often, the change is not successfully synced to the gmail servers because when I check on the gmail web interface, the messages do not appear in that label.

+1 I have some old labels which sync correctly and some which never sync successfully. Any new labels I create do not sync to Gmail at all.
