The desktop email client is unable to block tracking links sent from other email tracking applications to me. Thunderbird allows me to prevent all tracking links from being triggered when I open an email. Nylas has an option to prevent downloads from happening automatically, however it still seems like the download happens when opening the email even when all auto-download settings are unchecked.
