Flickering on all screens #3584

What operating system are you using?

Ubuntu 16.04

What version of Nylas Mail are you using?

2.0.32

Bug? There's a lot of flickering for me when I use Nylas, specifically when anything has to load. When it's just sitting there there isn't a problem, but when I try to send or when I receive mail, the screen will flicker until the action is done. It's not a huge issue, more just a minor annoyance. If there happens to be a fix that would be appreciated, but otherwise it's not a huge deal.

Do you have any third-party plugins installed? If so, which ones?

Is the issue related to a specific email provider (Gmail, Exchange, etc.)?

No

Is the issue reproducible with a particular attachment, message, signature, etc?

Not as far as I can tell, and it's hard to take a screenshot of flickering.

Same issue as #3395 and #3362 probably.

Seems like the same issue, now that I've read those, but there still hasn't been a solution. I guess I'll just wait and see if it gets fixed...
