second stage debootstrap fails #1

With Ubuntu 16.04 (amd64 - kernel 4.4.0-22-generic) i get the following error:

I: Running command: chroot /media/storage/RPiPlayground/guh-image-builder/image-build/base /debootstrap/debootstrap --second-stage chroot: failed to run command ‘/debootstrap/debootstrap’: No such file or directory

Similar:

Copying the qemu binary does not solve it though...

I cannot reproduce this issue. Maybe fakeroot is missing?
