Thank you for raising this issue
We know that no country blocks imap pop smtp, bridges can be built over it,, or encrypted traffic can be obfuscated as imap pop smtp.
ping test smtp.google.com smtp.gmail.com smtp protocol Usage examples. https://github.com/machine1337/gmailc2
A selection of the latest research papers on Internet censorship https://censorbib.nymity.ch/ Some bridges archive https://software.pluggabletransports.info/ Tor bridges https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports
Is there a plan on this ? I mean bridge as in Tor bridges. There are services specifically targeted at this problem like, https://geph.io but they are centralized and do not scale. Its protocol is fairly advanced, and you can look at https://gfw.report for research. I also requested this feature in lokinet https://github.com/oxen-io/lokinet/labels/censor-resistance
