Thank you for raising this issue
@winsvega it looks like you ran yarn build
from the root of the monorepo. That target does not build any of the apps, you will need to run yarn build
for the nym-connect
or nym-wallet
directories to build the binaries:
git clone git@github.com:nymtech/nym.git
cd nym
yarn
yarn build
cd nym-connect
yarn build
I tried both from the root and from project folder. Wallet builds fine. But nym-connect I don't see the binaries.
@winsvega you will need to navigate to nym/nym-connect/nym-desktop
then you can either run yarn dev
or yarn build
> yarn dev will launch nym-connect right away in development mode, and yarn build will compile the nym-connect executable in nym-connect/target/release
also please follow the commands listed above from @mmsinclair too let me know how you get on, if you encounter any other issues
Thanks now it works.
The proxy works with supported apps only?
ERROR nym_socks5_client_core::socks::mixnet_responses > Network requester failed on connection id 5393724497890339436 with error: Domain "ipleak.net:443" failed filter check
Describe the issue nym-connect executable is not created. no errors reported. only warnings when yarn install. also the manual page https://nymtech.net/developers/quickstart/nymconnect-gui.html has no build instructions
Expected behaviour build nym-connect into the target folder according to the readme.md gitgub istruction
