Describe the issue:

Fuller details

Kansas City MO cases seem to be higher than what they report on the DataKC dashboard. 1906 total cases on 6/24 vs 2057 according to your data. Cases for the week starting 6/21 are about twice as high as what Data KC reports (NYT: 328 vs KC: 176)

I spoke with an epidemiologist with Kansas City health department and she told me that the Missouri state numbers do not agree with KC official numbers because the city verifies the residency of all cases the state assigns to them. Kansas City has weird boundries so there are a lot of cases that are dropped for DataKC's dashboard. Sounds like the numbers for Kansas City are going to be higher than what the state says but the surrounding county numbers are lower.

Not sure this is an issue since NYT is pulling from the state and your numbers appear to agree with the state.
