[FEATURE REQUEST] blocking notification center #5

Blocking the notification sound and popups would also be a big help in minimizing time spent on facebook. Whenever I see a notification pop up, I always switch back to the facebook tag. Maybe there could be a feature in which you change the title of the tab to something unrelated to facebook so we aren't tempted to go back. Or, creating a div over the notification center so that we can't press on the notification, for a set amount of time, to help minimize distractions.

I have a commit that would add an option to change the title and icon of the tab to StackOverflow. However, notifications update the tab's title back to normal (but the icon stays changed). However, it says I don't have authorization to push, even to a new branch.

Also, it may be an interesting addition to add the ability to change how you want to hide the tab title.

  1. Hide the title entirely and change the tab icon to a blank image
  2. Choose a default website (which is currently StackOverflow in my code)
  3. Allow the user to choose what website or title/icon pair they want
