When hunting, I shoot the animal and pull out my knife and run over to it to skin. When I skin the animal I get nothing from it, and my knife is no longer visibly in my hand but it's still in my hand. I have to press the hotkey to put my invisible knife away, to then press it again to pull my actual knife out.
