Convert to a package? #1

Hi, this looks like a really useful tool! I wonder if you're planning to convert it to a package at any point? I think a package format could abstract away some of the setup code and make it a bit more user-friendly. This would be something I'd be happy to help with - I'll be starting an IDI project soon and could use that as a test bed.

Thank you @lewinfox. Yes, there would be advantages to converting this to a package. However, without proven uptake beyond the Social Wellbeing Agency this would be significant effort for little or no benefit.

Very soon the Agency soon be asking the IDI research community whether they are using the tool and what could make it better. If there is strong interest in converting it to a package, then I will aim to do so.

When the Agency reached out to the IDI research community, there was no indication that the tool as a set of scripts (rather than a package) was a barrier to adoption. Hence I can not justify the effort to make this change at present. Closing this issue
