+Agenda Item Raised here https://github.com/o3de/o3de/issues/15375# Question - for this release, for exception requests should we still require SIG UI UX approvals? Ideally we have a chair or co-chair from that SIG here to discuss

Ulrick28 commented 1 year ago

I am proposing we remove the sig-ui-ux approvals. The exception process is to help protect against destabilization of the release. Sig-UI-UX was primarily concerned with anything affecting RTE, which is no longer an initiative for the 2305 release.

from the meeting notes: Action Items

tonybalandiuk commented 1 year ago

@AMZN-daimini @vincent6767 please see above action items. Thanks!

AMZN-daimini commented 1 year ago

@tonybalandiuk Apparently we plan to include o3de-extras in the release, but it will likely skip the gitflow process and be merged just before the release; also, we may only include content that has been tested and we will not hold up the release due to the state of extras. There are definitely more considerations to be made for future releases, especially regarding testing and what standards we hold that repo to.

FYI @Ulrick28 @AMZN-alexpete
