  • Roddie is nominated to be the co-chair. Since no one applies as the chair, @Naomi-Wash will proceed with the rest of the election steps.

  • Hotfix and the release notes are released. Moved the issue to do.

2. @Naomi-Wash @Ulrick28 to give updates about her discussion with Royal about the release manager as those are considered blockers for the next release. Based on the meeting notes on July 18th, we would like to have the release manager onboarded by August 1st.

   1. @RoddieKieley will take as a release manager for the 23.10.
   2. @Naomi-Wash will create the new project board and introduce the release process.
   3. @Naomi-Wash will introduce the SIG release team to Roddie.
   4. There is no one in the SIG Docs community to contribute. This is a risk @Naomi-Wash @Ulrick28 @RoddieKieley

   2. @Ulrick28 will follow up again with his manager to confirm his availability to become a chair. If he becomes a chair, he and Roddie should be looking into reducing the workload so it's manageable for Joe.
