Cleanup - Delete the 24.09.0 stabilization branch #272

Don't delete until after @nick-l-o3de and @jhanca-robotecai give the Ok.

I noticed I am still linked to this issue.

In the case of the o3de-extras repository, the branch is ahead of the main branch (it was used to generate 3.1.1 release). I think we should keep it as long as we do not clean up the versioning (probably 2409.1).
