These sessions are held every Thursday @ 09:00 PT (Timezone Converter) via Discord, on the #sig-ui-ux voice channel.
Our office hours are open to everyone, from seasoned professionals to those who are just starting to explore O3DE. We encourage you to come with questions, ideas, or even just to chat. We are here to help you achieve your goals and create the best possible user experience for the engine.

Who can attend the Office Hours?
Anyone who is interested in Open 3D Engine and its user interface and user experience is welcome to attend these sessions. You don’t need to be a member of the Special Interest Group (SIG) for UI-UX.
How can I use these Office Hour sessions?
You can use these sessions to:
Request a ‘sign-off’ on your project or pull request,
Brainstorm ideas for a feature, or to a user problem,
Discuss user frustrations or usability-related topics,
Review your designs or mock-ups,
Submit user research or design requests.
What should I bring to the Office Hours?
Absolutely nothing! You’re not required to bring anything, but an overview to your topic would be helpful. This could include any of the following:
A simple user story; “as a user, I want to…, because…”,
Who is your target user? Who are the users affected by this change?,
What is your vision behind this change?,
What is your issue related to; user interface, usability testing, learnability, documentation, etc.?,
Any materials or workflows or the existing project; sketches, wireframes, prototypes, or mockups.
I signed-up, but can no longer attend the meeting. What should I do?
If you’re unable to attend the session after signing up, please reach out to us on the Discord #sig-ui-ux text channel to inform us before the meeting starts.
How will I know if the session is cancelled?
If we need to make any changes to the Office Hours schedule, we will notify all community members via Discord prior to the session.
