Agenda Item: When going through the 21.11.1 release process, we engaged with LF Legal and 2 issues were raised as things the O3DF should be pursuing. (Issue 1) O3DF needs to explore repo scanning for 3rd party licensing for O3DE. This is mitigated short-term by a manual process (3rd party questionnaire and chain of custody tracking) . This repo scanning would long-term end up with SIG-Build. Since this involves spending money and using a vendor, I believe this needs to start with the TSC (Issue 2) O3DF needs to file O3DE with the following government agencies to make them aware O3DE exists. Specifically these agencies need to be made aware of any encryption calls. Check with LF legal for more details here (a) The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS, https://www.bis.doc.gov ) (b) National Security Agency (NSA, https://www.nsa.gov/)

Topic: LTS strategy - Will we have one for 2022? Presenter: Ulrick28 (Joe B) Length of time: 5 minutes Information: Note this is not saying we should have an LTS strategy for 2022, this is just asking if we will. The answer to this will help inform how we support any strategic O3DE partners during 2022. My opinion is that O3DE is not ready for an LTS strategy due to the planned rapid iteration of critical systems during 2022.
