It needs to be possible to visit mmlab.be main page using both subdomains knows and semweb. URL:http://knows.mmlab.be (main-url) & http://semweb.mmlab.be (as alias)

Subdomain module seems to be outdated and full with bugs (not te mention is has only +-200 sites usage)... So this module Domain will be used instead: https://www.drupal.org/project/domain

It has about 16 000 usages so a lot better.

The config file needs to be edited even with the module. So simply configuring in vhosts.conf file and adding a vhost (subdomain) is the best way. http://webdesign.about.com/od/apache/ht/htvirtualdomain.htm
