I'm always frustrated when I have to copy different things from one app and paste them in another app in different areas e.g. if I want to create a link on one page where I need a URL and text to display that I copy individually from my browser I have to switch back and forth or keep opening the clipboard.

I would like a shortcut that selects the previous item selected from the clipboard. Preferably there should be a option to enable a quick fading popup that shows from what to what was switched.
Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative would be to have one shortcut go backwards through the clipboard i.e. every time you press the shortcut it goes to the one before the one currently selected. There could also then be another shortcut such as adding "shift" that allows the selection to go in the opposite direction.
Additional context
Having most of it adjustable would be nice e.g. numbers for selecting items in list as optional feature or stuff like that but I think that is more niche.
