[FeatureRequest] Add a way to run vim 3d in 2d #5

Open Purgator opened 4 years ago

Hey that soft is really useful but i'm wondering if you could add a 2d feature please ?

BrunnerLivio commented 4 years ago

Why would you wanna use vim in 2d?

Jeffrey-P-McAteer commented 4 years ago

OP doesn't want 2d vim, they want 3d vim in 2d. This can be done with a Hilbert curve, but the 3d resolution will be limited to the 2d monitor it is displayed on.

We're assuming the dimension he wants to remove is the 3rd, "z" dimension - maybe he wants to remove "time" from the D D D s ;-)

I think I did a mistake and missoriented you.

The final purpose is to be able to use vim3D inside a cli. Like nano.

To answer your question :

Why would you wanna use vim in 2d?

For no reason

@Purgator Oh I thought you wanted to use the “normal” vim like a looser. vim is for virgins, vim^3 is for chads
