v1.0.0 tasks #12

Wanted to create an issue to track some tasks before a v1.0.0 release:

[x] Check performance difference between using SENTINEL_NULL vs nil
[x] Order functions to match parinfer.js
[x] Make sure tests are up-to-date with the latest from parinfer.js
[x] Change public API methods to be two args: text and plist of options
[x] Update README with public API changes
[x] Make sure testing harness matches parinfer.js (error output and tabStops)
[x] Update CHANGELOG and version number in the file
