APE build issues #214

We have some build issues with this commit id c1375c95790e1574b586a04608f66dad02831eb9 1) build failed with -Pshading option 2) didn't package scala part code without -Pshading option, which means we can never reach APE code. @ZJie1 Please help check these issues, thanks.
