No one has my same problem? There is a way that I can DELETE all the settings
of this app and try to install once again? It looks like a silly problem but
I've tried many times to uninstall and reinstall this app but I get the same
behaviour...

Thanks for your time.

A crash occurs every time when trying to "add existing files".

I've solved the problem. All you have to do is delete your old sigil folder. Go
here http://web.sigil.googlecode.com/git/files/OEBPS/Text/preferences.html and
open the location for your preference, at this point all you have to di is
delete the folder sigil-ebook.

The app will re-create the folder and will start to work properly again.

Good luck!

Thank you! It's a good walk around. Even better then deleting the app and
installing an older version (which also works).
For all other users: You may open the sigil-ebook folder from within the
preferences inside Sigil. This opens the right finder window. But then you have
to close the Sigil app prior to deleting this folder.

The issue also covers this non consistant error with all attempts to open a
file in Sigil. Not only uploads to the epub-container may cause a crash.

Thank you again!
