Ebooks are a great thing for disabled people.

But you have to observe specified rules, when you write a document, that is 
readable and that you can navigate within with for an example with a 
screen-reader. You have to markup abbreviations with the written out 
abbreveation and so on. You have to set <rel> attributes for the navigation. 
You have to set the <tabindex> attribute or better the <accesskey> attribute 
for navigation elements.

Sigil should assist and check documents for this issue.
