Sigil fails to run on Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When trying to run the application
2. Before application opens, 'Sigil quit unexpectedly'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected output is for the application to run, instead I see the error 'Sigil 
quit unexpectedly'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I am using Sigil version 0.7.2 for Mac, running OS 10.9 (Mavericks)
