Sigil Mac 0.7.4 does not correctly render on MacOS 10.9.1 #2450

Two issues

Sigil 0.7.2 does not run on MacOS 10.9.1
When I upgraded to 0.7.4, it could start. However rendering is messed up.
In my case, I use Indic (South Asian characters). They rendered perfectly fine 
on MacOS 10.8 and 0.7.2.

Lesson: Dont upgrade to MacOS 10.9
