Crashing with Windows 8.1 x64 #2475

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just editing an epub, sometimes it crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Sigil (last avaible) 0.7.4 and Windows Enterprise 8.1 x64

** Unfortunately, I can´t send anything else, the program just closes 
constantly.

The program appears as running in the task manager, but not on the screen

I am trying sigil portable version on Win 8.1 64bit, and it does not work. The 
program starts and displays the splash screen, but that's it. It closes 
immediately without displaying any error or the like.
