unicode character rendering #2492

What steps will reproduce the problem?
unicode character rendering in code view, toc, search function and recent files 
list.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected output is proper rendeing of hindi unicode characters. instead I see 
boxes in above mentioned views. It is rendered properly only in book view. I 
can see images of the problem if needed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.4, windows 8. This problem was not there in version 3
