Not responding #2502

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run version 0.7.4 on Win 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 Bit
2. Make sure Windows latest update are installed
3. Start editing an html page or add an existing html page.

What is the expected output? 

What do you see instead?
- Sigil freezes and gets greyed out. "(Not responding)" appears in the title 
bar. Ram remains constant and CPU usage is 0%.

What version of the product are you using? 
- 0.7.4 

On what operating system?
- Win 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 Bit

Addenda: The windows updates were:
- Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3024777)
- Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2830477)
