How should TCs use Slack or Discord for TC work

What are the rules and issues with using Slack and or Discord (or something else). We need to accept the fact that people do not do work over email anymore. Nor do people send around documents via email or upload documents to kavi. Work is done in a much more agile way and communication happens a lot faster. This also means that some of the communications methods used are not official or do not have a way to easily capture and store all of the messages. So no way to archive the history. Other issues are:

• How do you ensure that only TC members have access
• Ensure that TC observers if they have access are not contributing
• When a TC member leaves, making sure their access is removed (roster sync issues)
• Archiving of messages
• Using this as the primary and official communications methods

Who can be invited, how do you maintain who can be there, can you make decisions etc. Members or Observers

While I don't have any experience using these tools for OASIS work (yet), I think this is another important area. We should also consider including Teams/Skype.
