This is a follow up of #13

Let's define each element and work on their definitions in separate GitHub issues. This issue will focus on defining: End of Extended Support

Potential Definition

End of Extended Support refers to the date when a vendor or maintainer ceases to provide extended support services for a particular software or hardware product. Extended support typically follows the end of mainstream support and may include critical security updates, paid support options, and limited bug fixes. After the End of Extended Support date, no further updates, including security patches, will be provided, and users will no longer have access to official support channels for assistance with the product.

Example:

Imagine a database software called "DataMaster" developed by InfoTech. InfoTech initially provides mainstream support for DataMaster for five years, followed by an additional three years of extended support. The extended support period for DataMaster version 2.0 is scheduled to end on June 30, 2025. After this date, InfoTech will no longer offer any form of support, including security updates or paid assistance, for DataMaster 2.0. Users are encouraged to upgrade to DataMaster version 3.0 or newer to ensure continued support and security.

Does it make sense (honest question) to somehow add a sentence explaining how the extended support differs from normal support?
