PRIZE BOUNTY

Build the best original app with the Oasis Ethereum ParaTime

Best port of an existing Ethereum app with the Oasis Ethereum ParaTime

Besides those main prizes, university-affiliated teams that register with a .edu email address can also be in the running to win the ROSE University bonus prize.

Complete ROSE University: 1 prize of $1,000 in $ROSE tokens + Official Oasis Swag Package

Each prize will go to one submission that best meets the listed criteria. Prizes for group projects will be given to the main user who registers and it is up to the group to determine how to divide the prize among members.

CHALLENGE DESCRIPTION

You can choose to build the best original app or the best port of an existing Ethereum app using the Oasis Ethereum ParaTime.

This hackathon is open for submissions from November 9th 2020 9:00 AM PST through December 2nd 2020 11:59 PM PST

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please make sure that your submission addresses the following criteria:

JUDGING CRITERIA

A panel will judge your submission asynchronously. Each individual judge will give your submission a rating on a scale from 1 to 5 based on the judging criteria described below. Projects with the most points in each category will be declared winners. Any tie breakers will be determined at the discretion of the judges.

Winners who are U.S. citizens or residents and who are not accredited investors, may not be eligible to receive tokens as awards. The Competition is not and will not be offered or sold, directly or indirectly, to any person who is a resident, organized, or located in any country or territory subject to OFAC comprehensive sanctions programs from time to time, including Cuba, Crimea region of Ukraine, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Iran, Syria, any person found on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals, Blocked Persons List, any other consolidated prohibited persons list as determined by any applicable governmental authority, or any persons who are organized, located, or residents of New York State.

  • Your app must be built using the Oasis Ethereum ParaTime: https://www.oasiseth.org/#developers
  • You provide a 2 minute maximum video that discusses the core features of your app. Please provide the link to the video (uploaded to YouTube or Google Drive) in your README file.
  • Provide a working link to your deployed app demo. If you don’t have a frontend as part of your demo, you must describe how to test the functionality of your app.
  • Provide a link to your code on Github.
  • Submitted by the deadline: December 2nd 11:59 pm PST.
  • Your submission must be the original work of an individual participant or a group. Prizes for group projects will be given to the main user who registers, and it is up to the group to determine how to divide the prize among members.
  • Commit logs will be reviewed by our team.
