Challenge Description

Build a DeFi Dapp using the Oasis-Eth ParaTime, an EVM-compatible environment with gas fees 99% lower than Ethereum.

More info about the Oasis-Eth Paratime:

• The Oasis-Eth ParaTime by Second Statehas launched successfully and has 18 nodes registered to operate on the ParaTime.
• The ParaTime is designed with support for EVM and has support for the entire solidity tool chain
• Gas fees that are 99% lower than Ethereum
• Much more performant than Ethereum with throughput order of magnitude higher and only 6s confirmation times.

Submission Requirements

Participants must build the best DeFi application or platform (e.g., decentralized lending, DEX, asset management, yield aggregator, NFT, analytics, etc.) using Oasis-Eth ParaTime. A demo included in the submission is strongly recommended.

Submission Deadline: Last day of the hackathon - Sunday, 23rd May 11:59 PM EST (GMT -5)

Judging Criteria

The Oasis & SecondState teams will review applications based on these criteria:

• Relevance with the DEFI theme
• Creativity & originality
• Usability and practicality of the DEFI app
• Technicality of implementation
• UI/UX Design
• Public, open-source Github repo
